EX3 Projects Progress Update:

First Draft:

• Exploring the Age of Sorrows: Essays on the World of Exalted
• Adversaries of the Righteous: A collection of Exalted antagonists.

Redlines:

• Dragon-Blooded Novella #2
• Hundred Devils Night Parade: An Exalted bestiary.
• Exalted: Essence: Chosen by the gods, their power tempered only by human hearts, the Exalted are all that stand between Creation and the forces that would ruin the world. Set in a rich and intriguing setting that draws from real-world histories and fantasy archetypes, Exalted has thrilled players across three editions. Now, Exalted: Essence features streamlined rules for a new way of playing a classic game, incorporating story-focused action and a presentation designed to appeal to new players and longtime fans alike. Featuring multiple classic Exalt types with Charms for each, written to enable ease of play, Exalted: Essence emphasizes story over character, character over mechanics, and mechanics over minutiae in order to drive Exalted toward engaging players with the myriad stories they can tell in the world of Creation. What legends will they tell of your deeds?

Second Draft:

• Many-Faced Strangers: A companion volume to Lunars which includes additional Charms, an animal bestiary, heroes of the Silver Pact, martial arts, fiction, War for the Caul, the Shadow Fang Vanguard, Quick Characters, Magic of the Moon, Mount Namas.

Development:

• Across the Eight Directions: a setting book that’s a spiritual successor to the first-edition favorite, Scavenger Sons. This will be a hefty volume of setting material that spans the entirety of the Threshold. It’ll encompass over 40 distinct locales and peoples, each surrounded by a constellation of more neighboring locales that provide context and texture, making it clear that these places exist as part of the fabric of a living, breathing world. Development: Eric Minton and Robert Vance.
• Exigents: Out of the Ashes: One of the most important new ideas for Third Edition is the introduction of new Exalts. These Exalts, known as the Exigents, take on themes and powers as diverse as the gods who create them. The corebook will blow the doors off the conception that there are no new Exalted; The Exigents will show the role of the new Exalted throughout history. It will feature a character creation system, a power matrix and a guide for the players to build their own custom Charm sets for whatever Exalted they feel like creating and adding to the setting while Exigents featured in the book will have fully finished Charm sets usable in game.

• Crucible of Legends - EX3 Storytellers Guide

Editing:

• Lunars Novella 
• Heirs to the Shogunate: A companion volume to Dragon-Blooded which includes additional Charms, Lookshy, Forest Witches, Outcastes, Cadet Houses, Prasad, War in the West, Quick Characters, and player handouts.

Proofing:

• Lunars: Fangs at the Gate:  Lunars: Fangs at the Gate will lay out the Silver Pact, detailing prominent elders within the Pact as well as Lunar dominions under the Pact’s control, fully detailed settings ready to use in a character’s background or as adventure locations for the Storyteller. It will also provide comprehensive rules for Lunar shapeshifting, and a better-than-ever set of Lunar Charms. There’s also a variety of Martial Arts styles both new and classic, new sorcerous initiations and spells, moonsilver artifacts with Evocations, and stats for a plethora of animals into which Lunars can shapeshift. Development: Eric Minton and Robert Vance.

Well, we all know these books take a long time to turn from an idea into a reality. It's been just over a year since our campaign ended and the hard work necessary to transform the kickstarter preview manuscript into a final form began. But, we're nearing the end of that long process with today's exciting announcement!

BACKER PDF VERSION

This is the first version of Lunars: Fangs at the Gate to be released. We've sent you these initial Backer PDFs for three reasons:

1) To thank you for your support! You helped give shape to this game with your support and enthusiasm and bring this into the world, and you deserve to see it first!

2) So you can start playing right away! These are the actual rules forthe Lunar Exlated, and now it's time to introduce some chaos into The Realm!

3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.

With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Fangs at the Gate errata and correction process!

The Lunars Errata Form is my Warform.

Generally, we try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, although it may be accessible a little bit longer due to the shifting nature of the world we're in now. Still, please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered.

We won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form. Please note this form will be for errata only - typos, incorrect math, page elements that overlap incorrectly, etc. It won't be for book discussion - you can do that in a different thread, or on the Kickstarter comments page.

Also, they already know about the Page XX notations - those are usually corrected after any changes are made and the books are being finalized.

After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.

You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

I'll have another update - that's been updated! - at the end of the month, noting our reward progress, as usual. It'll be exciting to move such a big piece from the "Pending" to "Delivered" pile. Now, there's still a distance to go and work to be done, but let's celebrate this amazing accomplishment and dig into this fantastic book! Enjoy!

As the third decade of the 21st century dawns, the Technocratic Union stands on the cutting edge of a future imperiled. As science and technology draw humanity closer than ever before, certain factions within the Masses display gross negligence, undermining the Union’s work and endangering the world for shortsighted gains. Despite global telecommunications, new frontiers in virtually every field of study, and an understanding of the universe only dreamed of by earlier generations, humanity faces threats on all sides.

Climate change threatens to destroy life as we know it. Religious fundamentalism breeds terror around the globe. Diseases, once eradicated in the developed world through vaccination, have returned due to antivaxxer movements. Totalitarian, nationalist governments rise as the Masses succumb to fear of the other. The world stands on the brink of destruction, and it is up to the agents and operatives of the Technocratic Union to save it…or be its ultimate destruction.

Technocracy Reloaded peels back the curtain and examines the role of the Technocracy in Mage 20th Anniversary Edition. The various Future Fates presented in Mage 20 are examined and this book introduces a few of its own.
