Sneaking this in on the very last day of the month! It's time for our regular update!
October James is ready to bust out!
I waited a few extra days to send this, just to confirm the status of our projects and confirm everything is underway and working towards Q4 delivery. Of the three items we'll be shipping out, one is done, one is in progress, and one is getting ready to go.

August 2020 Update - Confirming shipping information

Greetings Gatecrashers,
I'm sending out the month end update a bit early this month to make sure that everyone is on track for our final stage of BackerKit lockdown and make sure you all have the schedule.
Lockdown is our final form.
Over the past few days, BackerKit has begun processing payments for Add Ons and pre-orders as we prepare for the penultimate stage of reward delivery. We've got one more step in the lockdown process:
CONFIRM SHIPPING INFORMATION - Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for October 2020. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by AUGUST24, 2020. In five days, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can start picking and packing orders, with plans to maybe ship October.
Quick note on schedules and timelines
2020 continues to prove that time does not work the way you think, and all plans need to be adjustable on the fly. I'm trying to get out a little ahead to have room to make alterations as needed, but obviously, these dates and the idea of shipping in October are our best guesses based on current projections. Should things change, I'll send communication and we'll update as necessary.
I am now internally referring to all of this as "Q4 Shipping" though I hope to get everything out to you as quickly as possible. I will continue to update you as I have information.

We're in the final week of July, so as promised, it's time for our regular month end update.
Locking in final printing quantities!
SURVEY LOCKDOWN PROCESS
We've locked down our final order quantities this week, so I'll be able to provide order quantities to the team as they begin the print process for this book. With everything going on in the world, we're locking down a bit earlier than we may normally have, just to allow extra time for strained logistics, reduced staffing situations, and delayed deliveries.
Our next steps:
1. CONFIRM ALL PAYMENT INFORMATION - For any additions you made in BackerKit, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed by AUGUST17, 2020. In four weeks, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down and process all outstanding payments.
2. CONFIRM SHIPPING INFORMATION - Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for September/October 2020. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by AUGUST24, 2020. In five weeks, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can start picking and packing orders, with plans to maybe ship by September, but more likely in October.

According to the most recent Monday Meeting Notes production progress chart, I believe the Storyteller Screen and Lunar's Map are currently at the printer and those jobs are underway. Many-Faced Strangers is in Second Draft stage, and our Lunars novella is in Editing. Our main reward, the Lunars: Fangs at the Gate Deluxe Hardcover book, is in the final Indexing stage and will hopefully be ready to send to the printer before too much longer. We've locked in our print quantities so we know how many deluxe books we need to produce, so we're ahead of the game there. It will still take some time to get the job all finished, so I'm hopeful that we'll be shipping in October, but I'll keep you updated as we go.

While we've still got some time to go for our remaining rewards (especially our Stretch Goal projects!), it's time to begin a big step toward delivering our main reward - the Lunars: Fangs at the Gate deluxe edition hardcover.
Please, I've been talking about lockdowns for the past 4 months...
IT'S TIME TO LOCK DOWN THE SURVEYS & PREPARE FOR SHIPPING!!
Just to pause a moment in the middle of celebration, I ask that everyone reviews their BackerKit survey to confirm rewards and lock in information. Look for instructions below on how to access your Survey again, but key follow-up steps are:
1. CONFIRM REWARDS - I'll be locking down all Reward Lists, so if you wanted to add any additional rewards, please do so by JULY27, 2020. In a weeks' time, I will lock down all reward lists and you won't be able to adjust or add anything after that time.
2. ADDRESS CONFIRMATION & DELIVERY OBLIGATIONS.
Consider this the (at least) six-weeks-from-fulfillment warning to update your information, after which point, you agree that our responsibility to you is to ship your order as listed in our pledge manager system to the address listed in BackerKit, that title and risk passes to you upon delivery to a common carrier for such shipment, and you are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods. Failure to confirm mailing address prior to August 24, 2020 will be taken as agreement that all obligations have been met and no further action or effort is required on the part of Onyx Path.
That's my brief surface-style semi-legal notice saying, basically, we're going to ship to the address you've provided but our cut off date, so please ensure your information is as accurate as possible. And, we'll do our best to get the book into your hands and make sure it all works out! But we can only work with the information we have, and shipping systems as they are today. Things have been weird lately, so let's work together to make it happen. I'll do my best on my end!
(Of course, if you're getting digital rewards only, you don't need to worry about your address. This is just for the physical books and screens).
SHIPPING UPDATE TO COME
This is all in anticipation of shipping around September 2020. I will send another update when the books are actually ready to go and will begin shipping, but we need to have this information locked down prior to that stage. If you find yourself in an unusual circumstance or your residence unexpectedly changes between August24th and the date I send out the shipping update, contact me to see what I can do at that time.
BACKERS FROM BRAZIL - All shipments entering your country require your CPF number. If you could ensure it's been added to your address information, that'll help speed the process along. Thanks!

Hello Gatecrashers,
No major updates for this month, but wanted to make sure I continue my monthly update posts to track all of our rewards and continue to share any info about the project (and other Onyx Path projects) so we're all in the loop.

I do want to share this exciting bit of fun! As you may know, Onyx Path hosted a Virtual Gaming Convention earlier this month, featuring interesting panels discussing their processes and projects as well as other relevant topics. You can check out the videos on their Twitch Channel or search #OnxyPathCon on Youtube.
One of the videos I'll spotlight a bit is for Exalted: Essence, a new streamlined and story-focused rulebook for Exalted, to run alongside our Exalted Third Edition system and maybe bring some new players into the fold.This is one of the very first open playtests. In theory, from what I've read and heard, it'll give players who aren't so adept at the rules crunch of Exalted a way to get into the setting that we've read about in Fangsat the Gate and Many-FacedStrangers.
